My Rose

When I take you in my hands, Rose
I might hurt you at times rind each petal
To try and know who you are and heckle
Even if I have to hurt you for a while
I promise to be gentle down the mile
When these bees try to come near you
I feel jealous and try to safeguard you
When you smile, you make my soul meek
Happy and joyous, But never so weak
When this cruel gust of wind blow
I hold you tight and not let you go
And when you grow older and wither,
 I'll be with you Till the Sky is blue

I feel lost and painful when it dawns
Not being able to see you for a moment
When it rains, I thank the rain gods
Because I can stay with you longer after that
I shiver when it snows but I see you
tomorrow and forget the pain I've been through
When I'm weak and can't reach to see you...
I wait for you to reach me
